ROOTS clearly shows biostimulatory effects when used monthly at one percent concentration on field—grown fertilized bedding plants. A number of effects were observed. Treated plants had consistently higher shoot height during the active growth phase. Earlier flowering and earlier fruit sets were also observed. This data suggests that the biostimulation accelerated the development of the treated plants relative to the controls. Earlier production on the order of one week appears possible, but additional field tests a second year will be needed to provide an adequate data base for complete assessment. Plants also showed increased flowering from 25% to 300%, depending on cultivar. Likewise, increased fruit sets were noted.
