ROOTS® Organic

Use ROOTS® Organic, the original organic biostimulant, whenever you grow plants from seeds, plant plugs, or bare roots, or whenever you plant balled and burlapped plants.

Application Information & Ingredients: ROOTS® Organic grows stronger root systems on shrubs, trees and seedlings. We also have specific formulations for vegetables, flowers, and lawns .

Planting: Mix 2 ounces of ROOTS® in 1 gallon of water and drench the base of the plant. 1 pint of the mix will treat a plug (use 1 - 2 quarts when planting a full tray of plugs). Use 1 quart for a bare-root rose plant, and 1 to 2 quarts for a shrub or a tree.

Seedlings: Use 1 gallon of mix for every 500 sq. ft. Apply when shoots are visible (after germination). A hose-end sprayer is the easiest way to apply it (and you can get one free by ordering the ROOTS® Value Pack) but a watering can works just as well.

Stressed Shrubs & Ornamentals: Apply 1 gallon of mix to 300 sq. ft. to restore your plants health and vigor.

Ingredients: seaweed, humus, vitamins C, B1 & E, Glycine & other amino acids, and myoinositol.

Application and Ingredient Information:

The natural soil builder in ROOTS® Organic plus a foliar fertilizer (5-9-5) for the best growth and blossoms of all flowers and ornamentals.

Apply when flowers are 4-6 inches high, and apply every four weeks until flowering is over. Pour two ounces into a gallon of water and sprinkle over the plants, onto the leaves and soil. One gallon of this diluted mix will treat 300 square feet (10 x 30'). Hose end sprayers work well, but a watering can gives better control.

Application and Ingredient Information:

The natural soil builders in ROOTS® Organic plus a foliar fertilizer (4-8-8) for the biggest and tastiest vegetables and fruits.

Apply when the vegetables are 4-6 inches high, and apply every four weeks until 2 weeks before frost. Pour 2 ounces into a gallon of water and sprinkle over each plant. Once gallon of this diluted mix will treat 20 six-inch plants, or 10 twelve-inch plants, or 5 mature tomato plants.

Application and Ingredient Information:

Pour 2 ounces into a gallon of water and spread over 300 square feet (10’ x 30’). Or use a hose-end sprayer, putting tow ounces of concentrate for 300 square feet—32 ounces will treat 4,800 square feet. Apply every 6 weeks during active growth.
